Difference; Manual & Auto Afm's

hey guys

i recently got a 1995 r33 with a 3 plug pink label AFM, and i have had it diagnosed on a computer to have an error code on the computer. The skyline was an auto but had been converted to a manual before i puirchased the car. It is still running the auto ecu. My problem is that the car will randomly decide to stop, sometimes it will drive fine for ages, other times it will stall on startup, there appears to be no set pattern to it. I was told by someone that manual and auto skylines have a different coloured sticker on their AFM box, pink for auto, green for manual. I have also been told that its pink for series 2 and green for series 1. I was hoping someone could help me, as this problem is driving me up the wall.
