Removing Plenum

Im looking at polishing the plenum on my rb25det and i want to know if its safe to remove the top half of the plenum ? nothing is goin ta fall out or stuff up is it ??

Unbolt everything and keep cables and wires etc safely secured and you should be ok. There is a gasket in between which is copper and rubber, make sure you don't lose or damage that. It's reusable. The plenum might be kind of stuck due to the seal.

hehe...u don't hv to remove it.....just use the paper tape to wrap around the edge & do the polish job....see how I made it...polish the pipe too....

That looks realy good...

But i realy need to remove it to do it cos i have a bench

grinder with the polishing mob on it, so if i can take it off i could sand it down and polish it with the mop..

yes...u could remove it..but those bolts are really hidden undernearth & hard to access. U won't break anything if u just going to remove for polish....
