R32 Gearbox/transfer Case Noise

Hi everyone,

My 32 GTR has a noise that sounds like its from the front diff/transfer case. It almost sounds like its coming out of the air con. When I idle, or move slowly, with no load on engine or gearbox, it makes a 'turning' noise. Once the torque goes up and I am over about 20kph the sound disappears.

No other symptoms. Drives fine, even under heavy load.

My mechanic is going to check it out, but just after some ideas/tips/pointers.

hmm i remember hearing that whinnding noise when i blew my front diff dose ur 4wd work?

Yeah my 4WD works fine, no issues at all. The car drives like normal all the time. I am thinking that it may just be low fluid, but not sure. Any ideas?
