well the birthday was not perfect. first mistake was I got up and went to work. I should have stayed in bed and put in a call to Jessica Alba, but for some reason felt compelled to go to my job

Things will improve tonight with just a nice bottle of veuve, a fine cuban cigar and a nice dinner.

plus I was hoping my new suspension would arrive today as a little prezzie to myself, but it looks like that will have to wait for tomorrow.

and Jo, I was thinking you might be sending me a spare Z-tune in the mail, but I've rung the post office and no 10.5 cubic metre box was waiting there? what's up with that?!? perhaps it just got held up a bit? *prays to god it was held up...

started with shark fin soup (damn it was good), then some deep fried prawn balls, then peking duck (skin+pancakes, followed by san choy bow) and some deep fried icecream to finish. washed all that down with a bottle of vintage veuve cliquot, then a fine cuban cigar (a 'churchill').

all in all, a very nice day.

no, i like (and went to) Fook Yuen. good seafood but a bit pricey. their nice shark fin soup is $90 a bowl and their abalone is $$$.

kam fook is not bad too, but a bit like eating in a school hall!
