One thing you can do is fit a better oil cooler for it, and give it a good flush and new trans fluid.

There is a "mod" that some R32 guys have done to make the changes harder (and there is debate on this...does it wear less with or without slushy shifting?) I haven't yet spent time to work out where the plug is on the R33 for this "mod"

I found it in my folder - I drew it at night so it's not pretty :D

R32 engine bay, hopefully my drawing and writing is understandable.

It makes the box change really hard. Combine with the "hold" button and it's like driving a manualised auto.

I don't know what this does long term (I haven't done it to my R33) but plenty of 300ZX people in the states have done it. Hopefully it doesn't break the box!
