DO1Js are circuit tyres.

They *SUCK* bigtime at drags, trust me... I have first hand experience.

It's like trying to use Nitto NT555Rs (with their non-existant sidewall strength) to cut quick laps on the circuit. It just doesn't work.

Yeh Merli, i recall you had traction probs, but they would have to be better then the crappy Falkens i use on the road.

Ill use mine as they help reduce the amount of axle tramp, i already have fears about doing big shifts with little temp in gearbox and diff

so what tyre is all round tyre....if someone has 4 balder tyres than me i give you $5.. :-) all for (work well ran a 12.89) with em.

Less than 5% tread...might sell them on forum as a slick..but there soo dangerous on road at moment...need new ones..What should i get?

For an all round tyre you could use Yokohama A032s. A mates car runs 11.7 on them and they are very good on the circiut. The IPRA cars run them as a control type tyre, but 17,s are the biggest you can get.

For all out Drag use, forget Nitto,s, just get some 15 inch wheels and run M&Hs or Macreary,s. They are a much cheaper alternative.
