Wierd Boost Spiking And Rough Running

G'day there,

A while back a posted that i had a strange problem with my r32 GTR when cold or if really really warm. The behavior was displayed by boost spiking at low psi, and blowing of even at negative pressure (not sure how that is possible) I had a few responses from other skyline owners that they had similar problems and asked i would get back to them if i found a resolution.... well here it is.

I will make this short and sweet.

My mechanics and friends had lots of theories all of which were wrong. I change AFM's, BOV's and spark plugs over the past month. Finally today a mechanic out of the blue says while the car was just idling "Its a faulty coil pack" i dismissed this as i had checked the resistance across all of them myself, however it seems i was wrong. Number 6 cylinder had a faulty coil pack. I haven’t closely inspected the coil yet for fractures or any other defects but will and if i find anything interesting i will let you guys know.
