Lukus Brake Pads

Hey All,

Has anyone heard of / used 'Lukus' Brake pads? (I think thats how you spell the brand)

A guy at a local brake place recommends to put them on the line (over Bendix, which he also sells)..

Any thoughts.. ?

For the price they are good street pad. I had a set and worked to my expectations. But they are not a track pad or anything. Only thing I hated about them was that they dusted to all hell.

I have lukus pads in my 2003 Holden Astra. they stop well, great for long distance, and heavy use, but they are as dusty as hell.

Dont know what they would be like in a line, but let me know.

I used Lucas pads in my GTR and they were terrible.

I've got them on my car. I really dont mind them. I dont find them that dusty. But that is compaired to RB74s...

Im using Lucas pads in my 31 with R33 brakes and im loving it. Not as good as the Bendix Metal Kings, but they dont make those anymore.

Lucas pads were pretty OK for street driving, but yeh, dusty as hell.

They were pretty shitty for anything worth while, they overheated quickly as hell.

Endless SSS's are what ive got now, they are decent.

They are good for street use and spirited mountain driving. Used them once at a race meet and the new pads only lasted just that..one meeting. Very dusty though.
