Jaycar Boost Controller

just a quick question... those jaycar ibc .. can i get defected with them? or you can't tell by looking in the engine bay? had a cop searching my engine today and don't want any troubles..

Yes. All boost controllers are illegal.

The question is how well is it hidden?

well.. from what i know.. the jaycar is connected to the ecu so how can you find out if you're looking in the engine bay?

What state are you from, there not illegal in victoria. I assume that whether its connected to the ECU or not, it'd still need to be plumbed into a boost source

I've just installed one of these myself, and if you hide the actual kits say, under or in the glovebox, no one can tell if you have them installed. The only way someone could tell by looking under the bonnet is if they happened to notice the small rerouted pipes coming from the boost solenoid - very unlikely if it's a cop

i got defected for mine but it was under the bonnet..

cops dont know that much about all the models and if everything is kept looking standard and no bright colours than ushally you will be fine!
