StageaHoon
Wow. good price for parts there.. I think from memory, because the same box came in the commodores(at that time) aswell, we managed to pick all parts up for 450 but then with upgraded clutch, + all costs for the little niggly bits, (boot covers, gear stick/knob, clutch pedal etc) price went up.. maybe it was 1K minus what we sold the auto for I cant remember but it doesn't matter. Now we have a faultless box that grabs like it wants to go into the next gear, its great! haha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/137313-r34-front-end-conversion/page/3/#findComment-3099588 Share on other sites

darrinspencer
Well for nearly 12 months I finally got to drive my Stagea for the second time today. Got to drive it the mechanic's shop to get the gearbox changed to manual, no more tiptronic I have done the apexi turbo, tomie type b cams, fmic, teins, r34 brakes and full exhaust and r34 gtr front Still needs power fc, injectors, fuel pump and z32 airflow meter installed and then it can be dynoed and then get painted. darrinspencer
Much excitement! Any chence you'll be able to bring it to the meet?? Can't wait to see a '34 Stagea in the flesh! That is the plan, but instaed the of the gearbox being 1 day, the car will be there all week. So as long as it does not get held up, it will be there. Only got the front guards back form getting copied on Saturday lunch time and car was not back together and drivable till 12.30am today. It will not look to pretty with silver body, black guards, gtr purple bonnet, white front bar and pearl white ganador mirrors and no side skirts or rear bar, but it will be there.
