Sounds kinda like the 3SGTE Supra on Hi-Octane... lots of dollars tho and they did it for weight distribution reasons. Its not a good idea for $$$ reasons if thats what you are thinking. The conversion would be soooo expensive, you might as well make the RB tougher.

Though i think Top Secret picked the 4 cyl to mimic JGTC rules, in which you can run higher boost.. - i think.

You have an extra half a litre of displacement and a cast iron block. I'd say you've got a good chance of getting more bang for your buck with the RB25 than the SR20.

It might cost a bit less to maintain, but considering no-one does this conversion all your bits will have to be custom....which will cost you a fair amount. Your TCO will inevitably be higher.

As everyone else has said, unless you're prepping the car for motorsport and you want to weight balance gains (and perhaps rules on engine displacement may affect you) I can't see a gain.

Nah the SR20 will have such a hard time in a heavy body, especially if you get the old S13 Red top with no NVCS (variable valve timing) which'll make off boost torque even worse. The good thing is that aftermarket parts are everywhere, but I'd still take the RB25 anyday. Hell I'd love to try a RB25 in my S chassis!!
