accident today on hume hwy

about midday today... drove past BP on hume hwy near croydon/ashfield border and saw a white R33 GTS-T that was sandwiched... looked pretty bad... front and rear damage... least they will be covered cause theyre not the last one..

hope it wasn't anyone here..

In a car pile up is the last person responsible for the damage for every car in the pack? Doesn't sound right....

Thought at least only drivers are only at fault for their car and the damage on the car one in front.

no, my fiance ran into the back of a forester a few years ago and she was the last of a 4 car pile up (only very small - very little damage to all the cars.. except hers was written off... ) but she was only responsible for her car, not the others.
