hey lads,

just bought a hybrid intercooler kit for my r33 s1, i was told i could install it myself but i think id rather let someone else do it, does anyone know around how much it would be to have it installed and tuned, ive also got an electronic boost controller to go in. so if anyone has had this done to the car recentley could ya let me know,

You would be best to call around and speak to a few local workshops in your area.

I got a quote for an install... $300 thats not including a tune. hense im doing it myself

if you have a stock ecu there is nothing they can tune anyway. i know people that have been quoted $200 for it.

Free! Just do it yourself, a monkey could do it. Ask yourself, are you dumber than a monkey?

just do it yourself mate, its easy to do and a great learning experience you cant stuff it up

Just make sure you get a good hole saw that can cut metal! I learnt the hard way...

Also try to avoid cutting the clutch fan or cut as minimal as possible so that it doesn't get imbalanced.

Also if it's your first time give yourself at least a whole day to get it done!

I'd probably have paid someone to fit it though rather than do it again...

I used an angle grinder for the hole, but get a hole saw if u can
