as the name suggests, it's a 1 mile drag with a flying start. It's a top speed run. Fastest top speed over the run wins. I have a feeling it may actually be flying 1/8th mile, or flying 1/4 or even 1/2 mile though. could be wrong, maybe they do run a 1 mile drag.

nope....its a full mile, or maybe more....from conrod right down to the start/finish line from a standing start
