How I Got My Rwc...

Took my rig in for a RWC today. Went in to pick up car seen on the sheet, " Remove blow off valve".

Im thinking hmm, what the hell. Any way let the mechanic run through the list and then he got to the BOV and I go mate its a factory BOV, it recirculates, nothing is released into the atmosphere. Should have seen the look on his face, priceless. He soon crossed it off the list. It has Nissan on it and a part number, same type of casting/colour/make as inlet pipe. Moron..

The other good one was my intermediate/middle muffler was less than 10mm to low. The clearance is supposed to be 100mm and we got it to 115mm, When I say we my mate runs his own exhaust shop. The mechanic said to fix it just put a jack under it and jack it up. Yeh right mate...

after proving the mechanic wrong he still refused to sign off on it

Nissan GTR r32 factory BOV's with Hks coil overs that it was ADR'd with ???

does your bov really have nissan on it as mine has a MITSUBISHI badge on it? i thought they were all the same?

Yes mine has NISSAN on it and some numbers. Who knows mate, maybe someone has put a different type on yours.

Nah, standard RB25 has Mitsubishi. Don't know about R32's though, they have a different spring rate, and people swap them into Rb25's quite often.

my 33 has the mitsubishi bov on it. so did the wrx i did a fmic install on.

i just chuckle any time i see Atreyu's name, cause it is the name of the kid in the first 'the never ending story' movie and he's a real sissy.
