Strathfield deal

Hey.

Strathfield has got a good price for an Altec amp and a 500 watt Boss sub in box for only $200 (RRP$417)

there is NO DOUBT in my mind that this is a cheap and crappy setup but i am not going for competition sound here just a bit of noise now and then, even if they both blew up and i replaced them after a year or so thats still cheaper than a decent setup.

any good?

I had an Altec MOSFET Amp in my last car - was fine ! Nuthin wrong with it - and was good val too. Dun know anything about Boss sub- but sounds good - Is Boss, Is good...

I got a boss amp and its tough, if there subs are as good then yeah it will give you the noise you need, like you said its not for comp its for noise. sounds good
