Im a good chance. Work looks liek slowign down this week. So may be a chance to get the diff and coole rback on. Sandown and a night at the drags will be the last hoorah for the g'box. New R33 box goes in soon so will finally be able to drive the thing hard :(

Turned out to be a great afternoon at Sandown!...........JFK and Jack went at it together for several sessions of 3 really hot, nose to tail laps. The times tumbled throughout the day with JFK finishing on FTD 1:18.4, and Jack an amazing P2. 1:18.7 (PB by nearly 3 secs!!)......Was awesome to see/hear them driving the wheels off 2 very evenly matched cars.

So Jacks car lives and is quick  AWESOME!

I sat at home all day typing about Purified Water Systems...i hate still studying at my age

Big congrats to JFK and Jack !!!!! Thats damn quick...LOL ill have to stick with hitching passenger laps in RPM GTRs if i ever hope to see those times

Yeah well I guess you can say I'm STOKED!!!

After last weeks misfortune I decided to not give up and have a good crack at it...

Did a 1:19.7 in the first session, was wrapped with that time and would have gone home a happy man. But as the day went on, and I got my head around some of the tricky corners, the car went faster each session...

Following JFK around the track was priceless, he is an absolute maniac behind the wheel.... He really knows how to control a car...

So to finish with a 1:18.70 has actually left me (and a few others) stunned.. Its was my third (full) track day at Sandown.....

Lastly, a big thanks must go to Benno, for getting the car all sorted during the week and giving me the chance to race today.....

Congrat on the super quick time Jack, it has always been a pleasure to see your car in action.

It was a quite day actually, good for people who wants to improve their time at Sandown. Who own that V-spec II R32gtr? Came all the way down from SA to race at Sandown.

that was a great day, only 33 cars so plenty of track time... I went home at about 2:30 after having about 25 laps... in one of the morning practice sessions I had 12 clean flying laps! definately recommend the maserati days to anyone who is keen, the guys are pretty relaxed and friendly... they even told me to pinch some metal valve caps off a Dino that was in the car park to pass scrutineering hehe...

I now have a severe case of thrashed brake rotors but managed a pb of 1:29.75

and you guys in those 3 GTR's are all mad... officially
