Decorations For Indy Theme Party?

Hi All,

My work is having social-club drinks on the 20th, and we're having an "Indy" Themed event to co-incide with the Gold Coast Indy.

I have been asked to share some opinions on decorations etc, and have a couple of ideas, but was wondering if anyone out there has some ideas for cheapish (i.e. something we can make/buy for not much) decorations that would be suitable for a work environment....

any help would be greatly appreciated.

while the idea sounds great in theory, and i'm sure alot of the guys working here would go for it, im also sure that alot of the (hot) chicks here would dis-approve

and no, i don't think it's really an option to get them in bikinis either

bikins are a dumb idea. They should get naked and have that body wax painted on them with the ferrari symbol on there stomache!! I had a poster of two girls like that from indy

well, one simple idea i had was have a 'lane' marked out around the drinks/bbq and a sign saying "pit lane"

stuff like that is what i'm after guys

buy black and white crepe paper. make black and white twisties. do your pit lane markings, that's a good idea. get heaps of those car shaped jelly lollies from the confectionary warehouse.
