Fmic For Er34

Hi all,

What front mount intercooler can be used for the ER34? I have thus far see some folks using the stock unit from the BNR32. Apparently, the piping is just nice as the motor from the ER34 runs the piping on one side like the BNR32.

What about the stock unit from the BNR34?

please excuse me for hijacking but i have a gt2840 what kinda fmic would be perfect for this? i want as little lag as possible obviously,

I just had a ARC front mount fitted on my r34, kept most of the stock piping as it wrapped back behind the cooler and links back to the stock pipes, fits pretty well but the front bar needs to be chopped a bit...

I definately recommend an ARC unit. Theres pics somewhere on the link in my signature of the FMIC and how the piping runs.

Yep another vote for the ARC, the fitment and quality of these coolers are second to none !

Only cooler kit I have seen that has seperate mounts for the piping itself, ie the piping wont budge and will not rub against the circular cut outs.

As for BNR32 intercoolers, you may be able to mount the cooler somehow but you will need new piping fabricated as the BNR32 like all GTRs have a forward facing plenum from the factory so both pipes DONT go in from the passenger side.
