Does anyone know, or tried the steering rack/mount bushes. I also have seen S13s with alloy bush in the steering rack itself.

Anyone know where to source this gear for an R32? Ive had a look around and its all S13/14/15

Also, Nissan want a fortune for the front and rear tie rod ends. The aftermarket ones are a tad cheaper, but still a lot of money. Have ppl come up with a better solution?

Ive got steering rack bushes in mine Roy :(

Old ones were shagged (fell apart as i ripped em out)

Fulcrum suspension do it - Part # SPF2492K (Steering rack Mount Bush Kit) Polyurethane ones

Tie rod ends i got from Pedders - $32 each for the fronts (12mm or 14mm thread size). They have rear as well.

If u want, i can grab you some tie rod ends and send em to you if u cant find em local.

I got mine from drift motorsport who is a forum trader.

Fitting took me about 2 hours, mainly because i couldn't get the car up high enough to have any decent working room and the bracket was a tight fit over the new drivers side bush so i couldn't get the thread to catch initially (funnily enough same issue i had when fitting the poly sway bar bushes).

My old ones also fell to pieces as i removed them.

I replaced my sloppy wobbly steer rod bush that I bought from NV N01. I painted it black. Excellent fit.

A little tip for when you do it; pull the arm towards you so that you can get a socket on to it, then crack away, spin steering wheel, crack away again. Loosen the lower spline, slide the lower half of the steer rod down and remove the old rubber joiner, fit the new solid and bolt it all up.

Now with slight steering movements I can see the whole rack move side to side so my rack bushes too are buggered.

No wonder it felt like an old HT Holden. :domokun:

I'll let you all know if there's a noticable annoying increase in nvh due to the solid bush.
