how can this be stoped?? or do i have to get a bigger turbo??

after doing some searching i found it just to be the turbo runs out of puff thats why the boost drops (but ur mines be boost control related)

best and cheapest upgrade for an rb20 is a turbo from an rb25, its bolt on if you get ALL THE LINES and the turbo outlet!

can be had for all under $500

stock turbo with hks acutotor (spelling)

im guessing the reason why your boost drops off is due to the size of the stock rb20 turbo.

i was running one on my rb25 and i was running 0.8bar (12psi) and above 5000rpm the boost would drop down to around 0.5/0.6bar

Odd you say that. Cause on my ride, stock standard turbo, no boost controller/bleed/etc. After 5krpm, my boost spikes to .7bar. Before that it's .5

i notice that too with my rb25 turbo but i also had an rb20 turbo on my rb25det which drop in boost

hehe dont ask me why i had a rb20 turbo on an rb25det :(

got a 1990 model 32

best to do a search or post up in the F.I area of the forum;

i had a friend with an r31 with an rb20, he uses his rb20 oil line when he did an rb25 trubo swap and the line fit but it pump too much oil onto the turbo and it was smokey as hell, he swap to the rb25 oil line and it worked fine :thumbsup:
