hi everyone,

i have recently bought a skyline r32 gtr and the car is great. i really like it and everything but there are a couple of problems regarding the car that i would like to ask. any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. when i am cruising along normally, and accelerating a bit the gas just seems to cut off and the car isnt doing anything. the car kinda jerks a bit and then i step on some more gas, nothing happens and then it comes on. it happens rarely but i dunno what would be the problem.

2. the car has upgraded brembos on the front and they squeak heaps. i dunno if the pads are worn or is it got something to do with the materials that the brakes are made out of that causes this but i am unsure.

3. my driveway is heaps steep and everytime i go in and out of it my undercarriage gets scratched heaps and it hurts everytime this happens. i am afraid that it is causing grave damage to my car. is there anyway to prevent this?

thanks in advance to the help.

1. Develop a good relationship with an honest, reliable, knowledgeable tuner and remember the search

button is your friend

2. Probably the type of pads...no big woop. You can get pads to put behind the brake pads to kill that also

refer No1

3. Reverse up or go the 45 degree and keep your speed down....or move ;)

lol welcome to the world of skylines and lowered cars..

1. could be due to a multitude of problems.. searching is the best option as stated above.. that or take it to a mechanic if you really have no idea and demonstrate the problem to him..

2. check if there are still brake pads and that they havnt worn and dissapeared. if there still is brake pads visible it should be fine..

3. you're aware of the whole 45 degree angle exit right? U must have seen lowered cars do it before.. a handy tip.. your rear of the vehicle is in most cases higher up than your front.. so drive your car in head first... then reverse your car out of your driveway. It will save you from scrapping mostly..

helps me anyway.. gl and have fun :(
