I drink his milk.

I eat his left over sausages...and i just finished off his last 6 pack.

My housemate is a push over.

Got me thinking...are you the dead weight or are you the fella that carries the team.

I tell myself im doing it for his own good as he needs to toughen up. And the beating he gives me when he snaps will be character building for him.

So, worst or good stories of share accomodation. From the French girl in Biarritz, to the hooker who wanted to cook breakfast to...

first house I lived in after moving out was a house with 6 other people, I was definalty the dad of the house.. also the youngest, go figure, but I had to keep everyone in line, and no one touched anything of mine, or ate any of my food lol.. I definatly am not a push over to live with.. after that place though I have lived on my own cos I cant stand having to look after other people that are my own age or older

Yeah I'm usually the dad. Get's annoying after a while. I lived in a house in Cairns that had between 5 and 12 people at any one time.

One time one housemate asked to borrow my drill. I said yeah ok but put it away when you've finished with it cos you know what will happen if *Pablo gets a hold of it.

So anyway, I'm arriving home from work that night. Walking up the stairs to the back door. Just as I'm about to grab the door handle I hear a BZZZZ and a drill bit comes out through the middle of the door!

I open the door and there is Pablo with the drill in his hand laughing manically and giving the drill little revs.

I took it off him. Turns out he drilled about 15 holes in various doors and walls in the house.

Is that the kind of story you were after Troy? Or should I tell you about the time that I questioned 3 of the other 4 housemates about some filth and since they all denied it when the 4th one came home I got stuck right into him. Turned out he hadn't been home for 4 days and one of the others had lied to me. I was very embarrassed.

* His real name.

my old flat mate (my best mate) has 2 blonde 18year old twin sisters..

suffice to say i used to push and push him..

its was great i could just about say anything about them, but if any of our other mates said a word he'd crack the shites at them

gotta love it..

i guess i'm a pushover to live with

my housemates an idiot...eats and drinks wateva he can find, doesn't clean up sh*t.....well, he does occasionally bout once a month to his credit...

worse thing he done was use the money i gave him for bills for drugs to the point of telstra cutting our internet and phone bill!!

sometimes i don't even know why i live there....location and great apartment i guess.

This is the first place i've lived with outta home and i've been out 6 months - anyone got some pointers on keeping the bastard in line?

I once woke up on the lounge with my housemates girlfriends underwear on my head.

Thankfully they thought it was funny when they woke up to see me passed out in the lounge in a real state. My mate who stayed over thought it was funny as after i fell asleep he saw them in the bathroom.

I have to say, i sont have my regular Friday night drinks after work anymore so a lot of my bad behaviour was left at my last place...poor old Kim

I have some horror stories.

My first house I moved into was horrible. It was a young people project housing. The lead tenent was an intern at Torana and he would bring "boys" back with him for weekend stays. They would sleep in his room and it creeps me out when I think about it now. But the other housemates were wierd too. This was housing for people from messed up homes, mine wasn't , it was just REALLY cheap rent $15/week inc bills. So the deaf guy was into tranny porn. And the other guys was a cleptomanic and serial liar. He (the thief) decided to take the deaf guys bank book and clean out the account. $5k later... Not cool. Deaf guy would eat all our food though so we figured it was ok.

Then I shared a house with this one girl and this was when karma kicked me in that ass.

She was nice to start with, good greek girl doing year 12 and she had the whole world ahead of her. Good family, nice friends, job at Coles not that great but a job none the less. Then she tried weed. I started to watch the downward spiral. So depressing really. She would miss classess here and there, then a few shifts, then she would have late parties and so on. Some wierd stories out of it though.

- I come home to 20 people in my living room smoking weed. Someone had thrown up on the floor and no one cleans it. It stays this was for 3-4 day until I _made_ her clean it. I really had to push her to clean it too!

- Dishes won't be done for about a week. I try to get her to clean them and in her best drugged f**ed voice "Dishes are like your friends man, you can't MAKE them do anything, they will just get done and you know, it will happen sooner or later" I pointed out to her dishes are not living objects, they will not do them selves but it they stay that way much longer, they may very well be. They got done after that. But it was still a constant issue. I'm not super clean myself but a week is just gross.

- All my food would get eaten bec of the munchies so I learnt to live on coffee and ciggies. and chicken rolls for the 7-11.

- I came home to the house and the whole places smells like YSL Jazz. I know I had a bottle that was full so I check it and it's empty! Turns out her friends snooped around my room and threw it everywhere. nice! Confronted her about it and "I'm not responsible for my friends, man" She f***ing well was so I ended up making her pay.

- She never payed any bills so I took the phone into my room and locked it in there (I got locks on the doors after the previos issue) one day her friend calls at about 3am. I tell him to not call as she can't use the phone and it's 3 am. 20 minutes later he throws an iron bar threw my window.... nice.

- She ends up hooking up with some guy that can't read or write and I have no idea what happened to her. I have no doubt she is junkie and I'm sure if drove around St Kilda at 11pm she is out there working. Or she is dead.

Oddly enough, she is the reason I hate weed. Every other drug I'm cool with, just not weed.

Hmm bad house mates...

I've had a few

first one was a feminist vegetation arts student (I was fresh off the farm doing engineering) lets say a few personality clashes.

next was PMS girl. once a month you would arrive home to her in a ban bag eating chocolate watching day time TV...and looking for a fight.

porn fetish boy. Now a bit of porn is fine but when he had hundreds of such titles, a vcr, a vcd and a DVD player all queued to his fav section, a trip once a year to Thailand for stress relief.

and druggie...who died of a drug OD, arrived home from work at midnight to have to face the cops..

lets just say I live alone now
