hi guys, im looking to get a powerfc i have a series 1.5, the question is do i get the series 2 model or series 1? this question also goes with splitfire coil packs aswell. thanks

the ecu is the same. some people think that the series 2 have the ignitor in the ecu but they are wrong. it is in the coils.

do you have a little silver box at the back of the coilpack cover? if you do then get series 1 coils. if you don't get series 2 coils.

is it under the cover? or at the back near firewall?

also if your TPS on the throttle body has 2 plugs (only 1 may have wires) it is a series 2 motor.

easy way to check your motor is check your afm too, if it has 3 wirews a s2 if it has 4 its a s1.

knew there was a way with the afm but didn't know what it was exactly.

Series 1 = Green sticker

Series 2 = Pink sticker

thanks all its a series 2 , 3 wires on afm and no silver box thingy.
