Fmic Fitment

i got defected for my fmic not so long ago, changed it back to standard to get it passed by the blue boys.. then proceded to get it checked for an enginners cert.

problem is my impact bar behind the front bar has been previously cut to make room for the fmic.

what have people done to get around the drama of getting it engineered with a fmic??

have got a hks one if that helps..

does GT-R impact bar fit??

my mate got pulled over and told to weld a bit of metal to the bar where he had cut it to strengthen it up, and to tidy it up so there was no sharp edges.

i suggested that but the engineer didnt like it! he suggested a smaller thurmo fan and maby a gtr bar would fit

same thing happened to me i went over the pits and all cleared depends who you see i guess.

yeah its luck of the draw... my 33 had the front reo chopped to fit an aftermarket cooler on a Type M bar. I never had a problem with Vicroads or the police fining me, or even noticing it really
