has anyone done this before?

whats the benefits on mounting a external on the turbo exhast housing over the engine manifold?

i have a 46mm wastegate rdy to be mounted onto a r33 turbo, has anyone done this or does anyone have any info or any pics please?

cheers

I had an old TO4B set up like that due to using stock ex manifold. For your RB25 turbo I wouldnt bother. Sell the w/g and use $ elsewhere; or wait till u get a bigger turbo.

even though the stock r33 turbo has been hybrid and has been upgraded to a steel wheel etc ?

apparently can handle 350 hp now and my flatemate is a welder so he can prob do it for me for free

hes just not sure how exzactley to do it

Its unnecessary and a waste of time. If the turbo has been highflowed correctly there is no need to use an external wastegate. The highflowed standard wastegate should more than suffice. As others have said, sell the wastegate and use the money for something else.
