Thanks for the info guys. Turns out it was indeed the subframe bush. Quoted $600 in labour alone! Sheesh.

Thats definitely pricey.

You can pick up a set of Nolatec Subframe bushes for $190 from UAS. The local workshop who has installed subframe bushes before wants $200 to fit them. :P

They are fairly easy to do your self providing you have 'some' tools. Remove the subframe, big hole saw to drill the old out, press the new in. An ebay 12tonne press for $150 will do the trick.

Then if you wish throw some pineapples in to angle the cradle for traction if you wish.
