today i changed the adjustment on the steering wheel for the height. then when i went to drive it at night i realised that my dashboard lights aren't coming on :) so i cant see sh!t (revs, speed, boost, petrol, etc...) the dash lights that say hand break is on and HIACS etc... they still work, just not the ones that light it up so i can see it...

any idea what has happend? (i thought i may have knocked a plug out or something?

How do i fix it?

If its a fuse, where is it? i cant read japanese :)

also if the speed limiter switch is accessable during the process where is it? :) i just have to take it out right?

Thanks Everyone!!!!!

Also another thing is that when the imoboliser turns on it stops my turbo timer, its obviously the wiring? any ideas?

Thanks!

A5H,

More than likely lost connection with the dimmer switch...

When they comply Skylines, they have to install a dimmer switch.. They probably ran the wire under the steering columb and when you ajusted the columb it pulled the wire out..

You should also find your rear lights aren't working either..

Fist things first, check your fuse's (just check both boxes - under bonnet and under dash).

If all fine then you will need to take the entire front souround off (around your dash and sterio). There should be a post on this forum on how to take it off (not too dificult). Then re-wire it..don't forget to disconnect the battery.

Cheers

Rob

The speed limiter is controlled by the ecu, you can buy a device that tricks the ecu that the car is doing less than 180km/h.

Sounds like your immobilizer is not turbo compatible. When i bought my alarm i ensured the alarm was compatible with a turbo timer. Basicly the immobilizer does not activate until the timer finishes, but the alarm is active.
