i think all that has to said is crap DOES make its way up to the motor. in theory a twin turbo would be twice as suseptable to is cos theres twice the gap in exhaust pulses.

my mechanic told me, lucky it was the ceramic wheel that got broken, it ended up at the exhaust middle thinggy, had it been broken on the other side, something more than likely would have ended up in the engine.

Same thing happened to mine about 6 months ago. Got tested and was told it was just the turbo. When turbo was replaced i was still blown smoke like a factory. Turns out i smashed 4 pistons cos of detonation.

blew my stock rb25 turbo on my 33 last year. peices (i dunno which, wasnt really paying attention lol) went into the cat as well. motor was a-ok jus that driving to the mechanics burnt alot of oil lol
