from what i undersand the difference is the q45 is bigger diameter, so you can run it on a 4" intake without having to reduce the pipe size. Recieving one today or tomorro, ill let you know if this is correct.

Whats the diff for each, advantages, good and bad etc?

When should you trade in your z32 for a q45?

The Q45 is a 90mm unit, while the Z32 is the same size as the R32/33/34/A31/C33 (non GTR) factory units. If the later is used you can retain the factory intake piping, while the Q45 will require a custom one made.

Both are good units and are directed at different applications.

1. RB26 AFM = 65 mm

RB20/25 AFM = 80 mm

Z32 AFM = 80 mm

Q45 AFM = 90 mm

2. When the Z32 AFM has reached its maximum voltage (5.1 volts) before boost has stabilised.
