Hi guys n gals,

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...&used_rec=1

That is the car im currently taken a look at and contacting the owner as well as NRMA inscpetion to organise a looky smile.gif i think the car looks preety clean. Now there are some mods on there that might heable to be defected ie the intercooler.. at the front. also Some person thinks the treds are to wide for it.... they are wide but skylines are cars that are mad on wide treds.... anyways im just pointing out some things and asking your Opinions i offered him 10,300 in the message i sent off to him

Cheers Tom

lol

dont be stingy - 11k is what itd be worth :spank:

and yeah, a lot of things on the car 'could' be defectable...... being pulled over and checked is a risk you take by simply owning a skyline, whether stock or modified.

i think he accidentally p...p....p...ppppurrr??? ...... ... . . .. .. .

. . .. p..p.p...painted his interior trim red by mistake, v...v.vvv....very much.

...ge.... .w.w..w...what a terriffic audience!

have u seen the car in person yet?

dont get too excited till you do.

sometimes you expect it to be great from the pics, but then you turn up, and pffffft, no good.

everyone's been through it, like myself, probably too many times.

will do :D im thinking about this car or maybee just buying a stock r32 with basic body kit etc and bov froma car dealership at least with them they usualy arent stingy and weird... and they have warranties

Don't trust (most) dealers from a bar of soap. They are stingy (it's their job) and they are weird (have to be to do their job well). Of course, massive generalisation :) but plenty of truth there.

A stock R32 will be far easier in the headaches department. There are too many reversible things that need to be done to keep the roadworthy authorities away when going for rego or pulled over for a 'random breath test'.

A quik question about the 2.5 skyline 33s are they generally good cars and how many ks do you get froma tank on a preety much stock turbo 33? as compared toa r32 2.0 turbz???? is there much difference? im thinking of buying a 33 they look sexy as well there abit wide but i cant hold it back! (my feelings tongue.gif)

    • Hey, like MBS206 mentioned; I dropped off my short block and rotating assembly Monday. With a quick verification, he believes he can clear it up with just a hone and new rings but he will confirm once the rotating assembly is out. If I were you, I would either go stroker or just replace the block if it does need to be bored over to next size. Block is cheaper then forged pistons.
    • live in the UK, and London has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) that requires individuals to pay £13 if their car doesn’t meet the required emissions standards.   The standard specifies that NOx emissions must be less than 0.08 g/km (i.e., the vehicle must meet Euro 4 standards or better, which generally results in NOx levels of around 0.08 grams per kilometer).   I reached out to Nissan UK, and they advised me to contact Nissan Japan directly. Does anyone have contact details for Nissan Japan or any certifications of conformity that show the emission details or NOx levels for the RB25DET engine?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    • these guys recommended to me and supplied custom 4 inch mufflers, couldn't be happier. They will spec a muffler to your preferred level of sound and know RB's well.  https://spmufflers.com.au/
    • Yeah this used to happen to me every year and a quick call would at least raise the agreed value back up / reduce the premium, but usually both.    That said for the first time on the renewal this year our agreed values went up or stayed the same over the fleet and the premium came down so that was a nice surprise.
    • I don't even go that hard core. I just say "how do you expect me to stay, when you increase my premium, and reduce the value of the car?"   Then play a game of shut the f**k up. Most of the time it's a computer that did the adjustment, and the people will happily change it around for you.
