Life has a way of getting even, just thank your lucky stars that the two of you are well. It could have been a very bad story all for a stone chip. Your a very lucky man, how many 15 month olds can boast at their 21'st, 'I was sideways on a public road in an R33'....

Lucky your both ok.

But Im going to be harsh here and go out on a limb (yes luxo 4x4 owners are the worst, at least when rich people buy s-classes they dont need to know how to drive) anyway. Just think about this for one second. Had you had a deep breath, and not done anything, not given him the bird, not then retaliated when he did the same back (as he probably didnt realise what he did wrong) you wouldnt have been in a potenally life threathing position. Serious dude hey, does take a bit, but a bit of a chill pill would have avoided that situation... Not saying what the other guy did was right by a long way, he definately needs some form of punishment.

I can understand exactly how you feel man. A very similar thing happened to me once. I wasn't so lucky and ended up veering sideways across a medium strip at 110. I still beleive i was so lucky there was nothing coming the other way. Curse those cheap rear tyres!

This dude in the VW will get what he deserves some day.

Sad to hear cuz ill keep a look out in sydney  if i see him ill give him a nice firm middle finger above steering wheel of vs wagon though i might be getting skyline soon so hopefully it freaks him out skylines are all gainst him good to see you and your daughter are alright!!!!!!!!! good to see......I to suffer from road rage problems i get worked up alot and follow them.

exactly why im trying to stop my wife retaliating in anyway to idiots on the road

you never know what other people are capable of

in your case, you would have been miles in front, if you had just let this idiot go

id learn from that

yep idiots for sure. It is REALLY f**king scary when you have someone so blinded by anger that they try and run you off the road. It happened to me too about a month ago.. I was being tailgated so I gave the bird. This pissed the guy off ect ect ect.

So if this happens to anyone out there do as ronin has the second time, shake your head and just ignore the dickheads, don't retalite - even though it's very difficult when your pissed off yourself.

Shouldn't the f**ker be running over his own kids, instead of yours?

At any rate, people should learn to just chill out and roll with it. While I think the Toe-rag driver is a complete f**k stain, if you go around prodding a rabid dog you should expect to get bitten.

That said, chances are I'd do the same as you in the same situation.

What's the speed limit on the Calder, anyway? And after your impact did he stop and exchange insurance details?

As a suggestion, I'd pull his plates from your post. While you're telling people you don't condone vigilante revenge its still not worth the risk in case it does happen and you've written this angry post.

to be honest as much as it's all well n good to say ronin shouldn't have retaliated, but still, you get your windscreen chipped, you're gonna be angry as!

that said, it's western society that we're so highly strung, we work our entire lives we never get a break for family time, we earn heaps of money then live our lives paying off houses and all sorts of other stuff we don't really need, we're all part of a machine, we eat our dinner in front of a tv,

sorry for the rant i recently went overseas and they live very different to us, a lot less stress, a lot more time taken to slow down and sniff the roses... different to how we live i guess...

wow.. i guess we can just thank god that you are both alive and well.

personally, if someone had put me or my 15month daughter in the danger you speak of.. god knows what i would do. son of rajab knows it wouldnt be pretty though.

so, he literally rammed you? that is a f**king disgrace.. i hope he gets his.

good to hear though that your alright mate.. thats the important thing.

    • It's purpose will be to stop the regulator plug from leaking oil. As GTS said, if it seals properly, it will mainly just have the effect of slightly higher oil pressure. I'll assume tolerances/fitment in the relief valve aren't that close that the washer being missing won't let it vent at 100% capacity too.
    • I put the charger in the engine bay and run the power cord down through one of the holes in the undertray, or at the back end of the engine bay, any time I need a car to be on a charger outside. In fact, I bring the extension cord up through into the engine bay so that it's not dragging around where it could get wet, or easily unplugged.
    • Car lives in a garage, so not an issue.  If it is an issue for you, I suppose you could hook this up to the battery and run the connector down to somewhere you can easily reach when the car is parked and locked up. Then I guess all you need to worry about is having your charger stolen lol.
    • Most proper RB26 builds here in Oz are costing multiples of that number. And yes, I know you're talking Euros. Here' the dollars being spent are largely associated with amphetamines.
    • I'll be getting this one most likely, I'll provide an update if my battery blows up lol. Also where did you get your info? This is the manual, it says it can be left on: https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/media/hclfd0ek/cc1206-xli_century_owners_manual_1223_v10_final.pdf I checked your quote and it's only for lithium batteries.
