Buying Used 95-97 R33s

I am thinking of buying my first skyline and really have no idea what to look out for. Most that I have looked at around Adelaide are around $15 - $20k and have resonably low kms. What sort of money should I be paying for a good example and what is considered good mileage for a forced induction vehicle? I am very wary of buying cars that may have been run at very high boost and have had been thrashed. What are some indicators of problems with the turbo? I am also curious about parts availabilty and servicing for jap imports? How expensive can these cars be to keep on the road? Any advice that anyone can give me on this topic will be greatly appreciated.
