Brake Calipers/rotors

Is there such a place that can take them off for you and recondition them ? i.e. clean them up so i can paint my calipers and not have dodgy looking rusted rotors ? basically i would attempt it myself but i dont have jacks at home :S

You mean 'machine' them? are they warped?

You can have my GTR front discs for $80 after m dad machines them at work. He's a fitter for National Foods, but I guess he has some free time

nah theyre not warped, infact i think the actual calipers are fine, just dirty :S i wouild take them off and use a high pressure or steam cleaner but i dont have car jacks

Just take them off and atack them with a wire brush then spray the disk where it tents to rust with rust converter "To make sure it still doesnt do it under the paint" then spray with brake spray $20 for super shit, and spray away.

If you want a cool colour then you will need to choose wisely.

EG. I wanted mine Gold like the R34, I got gold auto spray and yellow brake spray, Put the brake spray on then let it dry then started on the Gold over the top, I do very heavy breaking in my car and the paint hasnt cracked at all and looks ausome. "When they arnt black lol "
