Hi all,

I have the above front bar for sale here already, but I am considering selling my full kit because I've almost decided the BN kit will be better suited to the look I'm after...the price we pay for indecision...! :)

The kit I have consists of URAS Monkey Magic FRP Type 1 Aero front bar (for which URAS don't make matching skirts or rear bar) and I am using ORIGIN STREAMLINE side skirts and rear bumper (also FRP) - despite the mix-and-matching of brands, they go together perfectly IMHO and a look at the side shot shows just how well they go together (the small lip at the bottom edge of the front bar picks up the same lip on the side skirts and rear bar - and they're the same height too!) :)

The URAS bar is order only (10-12 week wait) and D1 Garage told me my ORIGIN four door kit was the only one in the container just brought in by them - so save yourself a potential 3 month wait and take these off me...all are imported from Japan and all is of fantastic build quality and finish, ready to paint and fit. - as a guide to the quality of these parts, I have today dummy fitted the whole kit (using cable ties and tape only!) and the side skirts are only sitting on the car...they sat perfectly just carefully pressing them on!!

More info can be found here;

http://www.uras.com.au/

http://www.origin-aust.com/streamline.htm

As a guide, these parts retail for;

Front bar - $649

Rear bar - $395

Skirts - $395

Total - $1439 (+ frieght and wait time) :laugh:

My price is $1250 firm, pick up in Melbourne only (due to size of the items)

Cash or direct deposit only.

I think that's about it, sorry for the rant...if you have any questions please PM me or post them here...

Thanks,

Chris

has this sold yet? if i had the cash id be keen. if you cant get rid of it let me know. cheers daniel

It's still here Daniel...and at this stage I'm thinking of keeping it and using it...particularly because of its rarity and the fact the BN kit is still 6 weeks away... :(

Does the rear bar fit a regular number plate? out of interest :)

Hey Sarumatix, a Vic plate will fit in but not recess all the way into the holder...it tapers in toward the car...

Also, I have widebody front fenders for HCR32 as well if anyone interested...$250 pick up only (new)... :)

    • This could be sold and shipped to the US for many gold pieces. RMS has no say in that. Ask various Western Sydney inhabitants how it works.
    • Ha ha ha, mine loves to spend, all on the dogs (they're our kids, and her spending would likely rival that of some people raising children!) the only benefit is, her spending is tax deductible as she runs a business in the dog industry 😛 The above all means she can spend race car budget quicker than I can. 😛 That and a lot of the things I want are very expensive, and I can be a bit "you want how much for that?!" And at other times overly impulsive. Or I start the w days of research, get to day 1.5 and get really annoyed that no one will advertise actual specifics and it's just marketting BS and I go "well, now I don't want anything to do with that now!" Also I hate paying lots of money for something I can make from $50 in materials. Then I get the shits halfway through making things and wonder why others who just buy parts have more fun... 😛
    • Their 240Z with the RB26 would be a real nice thing to have in a garage to come out for an occasional weekend cruise It's such a cool thing in so many ways Sadly, we have a blue 240Z shell that I walk past every day, just sitting outside a shed at work, it has been slowly disintegrating and falling apart into the ground for the last few years, the owner cannot be found, and I am unable to "claim it" I've been told by work and the RMS, the rust in the body is excessive though, and it has had most of the salvageable stuff, like panels, trim and switch gear stripped off it over the last year or two, work keeps threatening to put it in one of our metal scrap bins, I wish they did though, as it makes Mark sad walking past it
    • Good tips, I like it! 😂😂 My wife is a LOT more frugal than me so it's only me we need to worry about! A splurge to her is buying 2 pairs of socks in one visit at Kmart!
    • Haha, the appropriate response to the question "Is this new?" is "I've had this for a while.". With the unspoken small print that a while may be the time since this morning or five years ago   And to be fair I learned that from the best, i.e. my wife. Because it goes both ways.
