Im currently trying to sell my 33 and i am getting sick and tired of all these people ringing up and asking for my address without even trying to build a pretense about wanting to buy it. how stupid do you think i am. If someone calls and asks 1 have you still got the car and 2 whats the address. alarm bells are ringing mate. Is anyone else out there copping this? coz i'll tell you right now. you better have some balls and a bullet proof vest if you think youre gonna come round to my place and rip my car off. I have 2 unfriendly rottys, a shooters license and a martial weapons collection. TRY IT.

sorry people, but im sure im not the only one and i wanna hear if theres other people out there having this happen? if this is happening to you or people you know post and spread some awareness before peoples rides start going missing while they're selling their car.

ive test driven cars and the owner has said i could take it bymyslef but i always insist they come incase of any unforseen events. also i think they should do it for theyre own sake ! :)

Same here. Even doing it with car 2nd hand dealerships, and such. I'd prefer if the salesman came along.

i just give out the address..

maybe you will get lucky and you can make a claim for the stolen car..

much less hassle than going through the barrage of questions people usually have.

I am selling a ford fricken laser and get hassled about its history bigtime..

its a fricken factory serviced fully log booked car...get over it.

Crime is Rife (almost touted as a japanese yakuza slogan...kekeke)... we gotta just deal with it. I hope no one tries to rip your car off... and i hope you sell it soon..

oi maybe just say... "this is my address....if you get lost just listen for the 2 rottys barkin"

    • Haha im flattered! Although my poor boat is collecting dust in the garage, as it hasn’t been driven in like 6 months. I forgot the to put the trickle charger on too, so the battery is likely toast now.. I have the frenchys kit. It is fantastic. My only gripe was that the hard lines from the firewall needed some tweaking, however, this was mainly due to my specific turbo and dump combo. The weight and size packaging is much nicer too. I think I have some pics on my build thread somewhere.. my justification for the kit was more “why not” I had gone to the trouble to modernise just about every other part of the car..
    • Actually, ethanol has probably never been cheaper, on a tax free basis, than petrol. With fuel excise being what it is, and only being levied on the hydocarbon component, not the ethanol component, and ethanol for non-drinking purposes not being subject to liquor excise - E85 was cheaper, but not because the combustible liquid itself was particularly cheaper.
