Just want some peace of mind and some advice/opinions.

Below is a pic of my left front radius rod bush. Quality isn't great due to it being dark and not great for photo-taking but it was the best I could do and still shows the signs of wear.

I've lightened it up on my pc and improved contrast so as to highlight the wear marks.

Both left and right bushes look much the same. The other side of each is fine, no wear marks at all - so what you see here is only on one side of each one.

To me it doesn't look bad enough to require replacement.

Let me know if you agree/disagree.

I'll be driving interstate (2000km) in a month's time and want to be 100% sure it'll be safe. (I've done the trip several times before so not real concerned about anything else).

Thanks.

I'd be changing them regardless as the std bush is pretty sloppy to begin with. if yours are torn/cracked you need to replace them pretty quickly. the steering's feel, and your control of it under brakes is only going to get worse as the bush tears further and loses all of it's grease.

super pro make a cheap press-in urethane bush replacement which takes about an hour to install drive in-drive out,or you can fit a full replacement aftermarket rose jointed radius rod by ordering a part to suit an R33 GTR from someone like tein, cusco, kazama, etc.
