oi mitchy if you buy one ill install it in for you

i did mine a few weeks ago and got it working the other night its sooo.... mad :P massive flames

dont think it will be good for the car though :)

simple as 4 wires but theres 2 wires that are meant to be the opposite to each other :S

Ive had one for about a year and used it on the street and the track

most people wire them to the handbreak for launch.

but I wired it to a clutch switch, basically it means I can keep my right foot on the floor, when upshifting, I just clutch in, limiter kicks in and cuts the revs down to 4500 or whatever, drop the clutch and be right in the powerband

whether its a benefit or not I dont really know, I dont think its nessesary

but its fun

what concerns me is whether it will cause damage to the turbo.

Ive got a nice expensive one going on and the last thing i want to do is destroy it.

huumm okay umm please confirm this statement..

the Bee*r rev limmiter cuts the eart so random spark drops out..fuel goes out cylinder ignite and kaboom through exhaust turbine and cat...

there are 2 triggers one is the red line and the other is either handbrake or clutch.... so if I hit redline it went kaboom booom boom..

If I connect to handbrake, the moment the handbrake is lifted during driving..also kaboom boom boom..

if connected to clutch only when sudden clutch release at launch, launch control? went kaboom boom boom...

downside, damages everything in the flame's path....However this system shouldn't be too damaging unless one were to do launches and red lines everyday?

cheers

could the bee *r rev limiter do any damage to ya engine?

A friend of mine had one of these REV limiter on his 11sec street tyre REX, i think it was a UNI CHIP one. Anyway, he used for around 6 months and his pitston rings got damage BECAUSE of the REV limiter action so he got rid of it.
