Clear Coat

Well i finished doing the base coat then i applied the clear coat did 3 coats of clear. But where do i go now? it looks good but o i let it dry for coyple days, then use 800 grit sand paper wet and then use a cutting agent. I really dnt know i am stuck can someone please help me?

Why do you need to rub it back? if it's perfect, leave it. Let it dry for a few months, then give her a buff.

If the paint is crap, then cutting/sanding might help, but it wont' make it perfect. PS: I wouldn't use 800. it's way too harsh. Try 2000-1500 if you must.

The clear coat is the last step all you do is let it dry or get it baked.

You may buff it after a few weeks, using high grit wet and dry sand paper and a cutting agent like (MANWHORE) said.

chuck it out in the sun while your at work for two days then rub it with some 1500 wet then 2000 .. you dont have to go sick with the rubn although i dont think you will break threw tha paint.... try and use a block so you wont get fingerr rubn marks....... then with a buff high speed first ... then chuck it on slow when the scratchez r gone to get a nice gloss.. good luck.
