Indeed, but i'd never seen one in the flesh. Pretty sure it was stock standard, it had the LED's at the front which i'm not a big fan of so i think it's a 2009-2010 don't those years have the LEDs?

So nice but!

35 Sexy?! If your into fat chicks that are really, really good in the cot. But whatever floats ya boat i spose :P

Tell me you wouldnt have this:

impp_0805_09_z+2008_nissan_gtr+front_left_view.jpg

There are prettier cars that have come out around the same time as the GTR, but there still a nice car :)

Yeah I'd have that and sell it to buy a 34 ztune, resprayed in midnight purple 3. Or even a de-stickered mine's 34. 35's are like the half decent looking fat chick you take home after being knocked back by the hotties. But if money really was no option, the original maclaren f1. In silver. Side profile looks like a silver .223 round, should be hunting down werewolfs.

Just had a thought now driving past Caltex Nebo road. They are ripping everything out of the ground there. Are they bringing E85 here?

Or did they have a cracked tank etc and are just doing boring maintenance?

From whst I've heard, they are just renovating and putting new tanks in. The only service stations that have been intetested in E85 is the BP and Shell at the city gates. Only because of Palmyra's location though.

E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% petrol, octane will be over 100 and the ethanol is good for running more boost and timing a bit more detenation resistance the Sucrogen E85 we use in the R32 is more refine with better quality petrol it is 109% octane. Down side to E85 is you need bigger fuel system with better flow and it burns up nearly twice as quick as petrol so if you average 500km per tank on Petrol you will probably get 250km a tank so your range is halved

On a 600 hp 25/30 I can still get 400 kay to a tank on pump e85. Octane rating is 104,

driven sensibly (stay off boost) fuel economy is sweet fa different to 98 unleaded, Its only when you open the tap that it starts to drink like a sailor.

If you have it available just use it. your engine will run better, plugs last longer and it smells like a rum distillry, (i like that)

This is where I can help - Chemistry was one of my strong areas at school. Always had an interest in it.

This is a Ethanol Molecule: ethanol_molecule2.png

This is a Heptane Molecule gasoline_molecule2.png(The most common molecule in gasoline)

As you can see, there are a lot more Hydrogen and Carbon atoms in gasoline (These are called carbon chains), so technically you'd need 2 x more ethanol molecules to take up the same amount of weight as Heptane is twice the weight. You should see diesel - its twice as long again.

When you add oxygen (o2) with Heptane, compress it and add a source of ignition, the carbon chains break down via a chemical reaction and re-forms into co2 +h20 + energy (and lots of other nasties due to the additives in the fuel). The reason these chemicals do this is because of electron shells, and wanting them to be full and stable. (Electron shells are another whole chemistry lesson, haha)

here is stoichiometric: e89086732554dcad6ebf9985bbf9e4d8.png or simple terms - e23da01758c21d69beb68f71f2a10097.png (Thanks wikipedia)

This is is a fairly simple maths equation. If you count the amount of carbon atoms in the Heptane molecule it helps you understand this equation better. You can work out how many oxygen molecules are required to burn a molecule of heptane. If you did chemisty you would have learned this back in school! haha.

Anyway, ethanol is more interesting in the way it reacts with oxygen under pressure and an ignition source.

Ethanol -> C2H5OH(l) + 3 O2(g) =Heat=> 2 CO2(g) + 3 H2O(g)

Gasoline -> 2C8H18 + 25O2 ~> Heat=> 16CO2 + 18H2O

Ethanol being smaller, having its own oxygen molecules, and being more "chemically satisfied" means that you can compress it more, and with that extra heat due to compression it is more stable and less prone to becoming unstable and reaction on its own without control (detonation). The extra oxygen molecules also help it also burn cooler. It also produces more energy so the idea of using double the amount on light loads isn't entirely correct. There is an exact way of figuring it out but I CBF'd doing the maths right now. Once any engine is on heavier loads, power starts to simplify and mostly rely on the amount of fuel and oxygen that can pass through, and efficiency.

In a nutshell, you can cram more Ethanol into the cylinder because, meaning you will use more, but you will also make more power. If you can't make more power because of engine \ airflow \ other limitations, then you won't use more.

The consumption is really based on power output. For example - Bennys GTR would chew the shit out of it because its making bulk power :)

There is much more to explain and I'd need hours and a white board to explain but this gives you a good idea of the differences. Google also helps a lot if you're looking for information on the chemical reactions.

I love E85 and the chemisty behind it and I wish they would replace all bowser fuel with it as its much better for the environment, and our precious engines. Oh, and there is almost no soot!

To the people that don't know me and make up shit like I read a few magazines to learn how to tune (They know who they are) and think they are cool posting lies on facebook, keep living in that muppet \ sheep lifestyle of not having a clue. I'm more than happy to see you burn money on tuning elsewhere. I'm 8 years into tuning and my friends \ customers are quite happy with the results.

To the rest, give me a call if you have any questions, I am more than happy to help :)

Hahahaha. No post was aimed at you. People who commented on it made it about you. Get over yourself.

And lets get some facts right... There are a few of your 'customers' who have not said a good word about you at all. Enough is enough. Stop blowing your own horn. You don't see other tuners preaching about themselves, do you?

You tell me to get over myself, yet there is nothing for me to get over. You are the fools trying to prove some bullshit point. I'm simply confident in my work.

And dyshonest, the man how winds the f**k out of his timing, blows the f**k out of his head gasket, and then sells it to some poor unsuspecting person as a perfect engine... Then bags me out as a tuner. oh the irony.

I'm astounded at the "dyshonesty" alright...Was a dog act. And you're his sheep, you and your Chris mate.

its ok, good for you.

A few of my customers? Let me guess, Blocka, and the Ebay turbo that wouldn't make power beyond 200rwkw because it was a peice of shit, proven by 2 different tuners? I can't help it if people get scammed and buy shit that won't produce the flow. Good for you though. If you want to talk about mis-informed shit, thats your problem I guess. You're a sheep.

    • Hi again all, I’ve tried doing some searching on the topic but couldn’t find the answer I’m looking for.   I deleted my clutch booster because it had an air leak and was squealing like a hog, and now my clutch has very poor pedal feel and the friction zone is way too small, so I believe I need a bigger diameter clutch master cylinder to compensate for not using the booster. I found a Wilwood option that’s 3/4” for a good price and will fit my 3AN clutch line, but all the firewall adapters I see online such as RB factory or Chase Bays are listed as RWD only (GTST/GTS). Link below. https://rbfactory.shop/products/nissan-to-wilwood-girling-clutch-master-cylinder-adapter My question is if these adapters will also fit a GTR, and if anyone has experience using a 3/4” CMC without the booster, my clutch is a Nismo coppermix twin plate.   Thanks, always appreciate the advice!
    • Catching up on a post, I've replaced the external shark fin with a small 4g antenna (no further drilling, just a 1mm embiggening of the existing hole, and run that to where the dual battery models have the battery in the left rear guard.  No idea what the factory antenna did, but removing it had no impact on anything I use, according to the US manual the GPS antenna is in the dash and it still works fine Also ended up stealing battery power from one of the amps and ACC power from a unit nearby to add an ACC relay to power it. The mounted the booster, wifi, power socket and antenna splitter in the rear left guard out of the way, all out of site with the boot trims in
    • What drama? The only drama you're going to have is the near constant work to maintain all those sphericals. I only have sphericals in my front caster rods and front upper CAs (because both of these are near compulsory in an R32). I have had the front arms out of my car 34 times already this month, and if the new replacements arrive today, I will have them out and apart again tomorrow. Chasing clicking and clunking that comes from sphericals being a.....poor choice for a road car. Moisture and dirt are not their friends. I have been contemplating a change to my rear subframe that would require me to use sphericals in my lower CAs. And.....I don't want to have them that close to the road.
    • Did you need anything else you've already done? If you had it before... and liked the changes after, then supposedly it'd be more of the same. The idea about most suspension arms is to tune geometry that the OEM arms max out at/can't handle because they weren't designed to have the car setup in such a way that 'looks good'.
    • I have replaced everything on my r34 including suspension to Miester R, all rear subframe bushes to poly, all arms to metal adjustable and same in front.   only thing I haven't touched is the front lower control arm. Should I? what improvement can i expect ? I mean the one on the link below?   Car drives perfectly, it is just me thinking everything is either puly bush or hard bearing type so should also do lower control arm front but do I really need it ? https://www.japspeed.co.uk/product/suspension/adjustable-arms/nissan-200sx-s13-s14-s15-skyline-r32-r33-r34-adjustable-suspension-front-lower-control-arms/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAo5u6BhDJARIsAAVoDWs5V_PauQPf0kx3zFCaA4tOC9Q7JSIsfJWma_jAPN2f1sJA686djOwaAidgEALw_wcB
