Ok peoples I posted this in the Stagea section but should have posted it here. (noob)

I was wondering what the differences/benefits are of the newer NEO engines in skylines and stageas?? Apart from being newer.lol.

Can anyone list some major upgrades that were made???

But same shitty pistons as the r33, which makes the rods useless until you put forgies in.

Exhaust valves are 1mm bigger than RB26 ones, so I think about 3mm bigger than older RB25's.

Inlet runners are smaller in diameter.

Turbo exhaust housing is bigger but not compressor.

All that adds up to an engine with less restrictions.

BUT! R33s2 are .02 quicker to 100km.Because of the 34s extra weight.

The RB25DET NEO has solid lifters instead of the hydraulic ones on the earlier engine. It also has the 2nd throttle butterfly for the traction control.
