A Question On Bov.

OK im looking for a BOV at the moment.And im liking the turbosmart dual port plumback one.But is $370,

I have seen other ones on the market for 1/4 of the price.Do all BOV act the same,and are we just paying the high prices for the name? I want a subtle but affective BOV like the dual port plumback.Can anyone please post or PM me some sound clips of the BOV they are using and how much it was? Prefferably on an RB25DET.

All BOV essentially do the same thing, the only reason why you should upgrade is when your stock one fails to operate efficiently i.e. when you wind up the boost.

I'm using a modded stock BOV and it works a treat.

I have 280rwkw, and use a $50 plastic little Bosch item. Worked flawlessly up till about 230rwkw. Still works fine now at current power but sometimes struggles to vent all the air as I hear a slight flutter sometimes.

I'm either just going to add another one or throw a pair of GTR itmes on there.

Thats $370 wasted mate.

Thats almost half of a PowerFC cost, which will actually have a performance use.

Stock BOV = best thing.
