Guest 83skyline
Hey guys just wondering if anyone could help me on a slight problem I have. I have just about fineshed putting an l20et into my hr30 but being the aussie version there are slight variations in the wiring to the l20et wiring harness, I was just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the l20et or knows where to get one cauz I can't find one anywhere......... :) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14009-l20et-conversion/ Share on other sites
dodgsun
rare as those manuals! but most modls have the same wiring harness just not plugged in, what would be an idea is to get a original car and park beside so you can see the diff!(like mine) but as you are only a guest dunno where you are! try scrolling thru threads to see if we have someone in your state or try import wrecker but most have never seen (or want to) such an old engine(no money for them!!) did see a diagram on the files at nissan dealer srvice dept when i went to find turbo specs but in japnese! good hunting!! :Pimp: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/14009-l20et-conversion/#findComment-1072810 Share on other sites
blind_elk
I'm looking at doing the same conversion, using a L20ET I once had fitted up to a 240Z. I've done the pin-mapping for the 2 looms, and as far as I can tell, the ECU pinouts are identical, except that the L20 ECU requires a O2 sensor feed to pin 16 (O2 sensor earth/shield) and pin 31 (O2 signal) (although pins 16 & 31 don't exist in the L24E ECU). But it would be easy enough to add that wiring in. I think pin 13 in the L24 is the fuel pump relay, which the L20 doesn't seem to have, but that, again, would be simple enough to wire in. But I'm going to be using an older Wolf 3D, since that's what was running it in the Z.
