After indicating and sometimes from startup i can hear the indicator clicking noise but twice as fast. theres no lights flashing an the indicators are off an all the rest .. doesnt look like there are any fuses blown

while its clicking at me i can put on the indicator or hazards and it slows back to normal speed and operates as expected. soon as hazards or indicating stops the clicking double time resumes and after bout 5-10 secs it stops (sometimes longer)

anyone had this before?

cheers yall :D

I found the problem in the blinker switch on the steering column. Once I opened the sterring column up and plastic covers off etc...I saw the swithc arcing out on the copper strips on the side of the blinker switch. I out a big blob of vaseline on the surrounding copper strips and I have never had the problem since. This was a 1 year ago now. It may seem its you relay but double check it in the blinker switch on the steering column 1st. Thanks

How did you go with your problem ?

it literally just started again this morning .. although this time it was stuck indicating left and then only after hitting the hazards it stopped but started making the indicator clicking noise at double time again for awhile. ill crack her open tonight ;)

hey mate i had the exact same problem turns out it was the indicator stalk assembly had broken. i just purchased another one from four brother imports (now closed up) for $120 and fixed the problem. Dont know if it makes any difference but this was in an r33 gts-t good luck :(
