Quick Q On R34 Tiptronic Cooler Install

Fellas with tiptronic 34's

When doing your cooler install... assuming its a Hybrid/China cooler etc

Did the oil cooler or the fan next to it get in your way at all?

Does the front bar just need a bit of trimming?

Thats pretty much it

when i look down.. i keep thinking its going to have to move somehow

on the 33 i had to remove the fan

any help appreciated

I havent found much in the way of searching.. i apologise if there is a thread.. if so.. point me to it instead.

It needs some trimming, you may find the SRS impact sensor needs to be relocated about 5cm lower and mounted below the fan. Also I have seen 2 types of fan, one that is flush and mounted integral into the shroud, the other has a big motor sticking right out of it.

Mounted well you can avoid cutting the support and have at least 2mm clearance from the fan and I/C core
