More centrally located events? Social? There is an abundance of you skyricer’s, so let us know what you want from a car club.

picnic's along the beach

maybe some cruises up this way through out the year, with a BBQ or something at the end, also i know you hold skid pan days up at gympie so thats also another good one.

um we could have a meetup cruise to the noosa hillclimb maybe.

just a few things we could do up this way

I might give ron hill a go. due for my service again and my local guy is away for the Christmas holidays. he appears to have agood rep :(

Hey Allara,

If your local guy is away try AM Auto if you're after a service. They specialise in Subaru's but service any kind of import you can throw at them. I've had my R34 serviced there twice - I also had them replace my timing belt & water pump and they do good work. They also custom fabricate almost anything you like - they're putting a 3" turboback with custom front pipe onto my '34 today.

They're down in Project Avenue - let me know if you're interested and I can forward on the details.

Hey guys, I think i emailed most of you who were coming along this sunday for the christmas cruise. But in case i hve missed any of you i just wanted to leys know we have been forced to post pone due to bad weatehr predicted at the destination. So it will probably turn into a new year cruise. :)

We will posting up teh new information within the next week or two :P

And beforei forget to all of you i hope you all have a merry christmas.

yeah, the destination at this time of year is usually plagued with storms no matter what weekend u choose, its luck of the draw. so maybe some where a little closer then that way if it does turn bad, u can always get home quicker or atleast to some where undercover.

    • I don’t really have any ideas how to set the timing on the CAS 😂, sounds like the top, sounds like it maybe misfiring as well as ticking,  got the box sorted 😌, must of been a air bubble on the clutch side
    • Use a 2' length of hose (that's 2 foot, not 2 inches) as a stethoscope to localise the source of the ticking. From cam covers? From exhaust or turbo manifold gasket? From injectors? From lower down in the engine? Etc. Use a timing light to set the timing. Put Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the box. It's not the very best thing for the box, but it will take a box that refuses to engage a gear with other oil, and make it engage a gear. I had to put it in when I installed the R33 box I have in my car. It would not select ANY gear when running. Smurf jizz made it work. That was >10 years ago and I still use it. I'm stuck with it now. Failing that - rebuild the box.
    • Well done Duncan. The fuel tank bulkhead lid is also in great condition (some of mine were stuffed). These are now out of production and good ones like that are becoming hard to come by.
    • Wow that's a steal, you've done well there.
