Hi all,

Five months on after my accident in which I lost my beloved skyline and nearly my life I have decided that I want another skyline. I am on the look out for a clean/straight, stock or tastefully moded S2 R33 GTS-t or R34 GTT. If you know of any good, straight examples around or are thinking of selling up then give me a heads up. Special thanks to everyone from this forum for their ongoing support.

Cheers, Drew

Hey i'd like to sell my R34.

As i want to get a V35.

It's a stock 5 speed manual, silver coupe.

And lots of people on here would know it.

So it's a good car, really like it but want something more crusier.

And it has 157 rwkw at the last sau dyno day.

nah Drew - buy an S15 .... they're way nicer than Skylines (and faster) :( ... I just happen to have mine for sale www.andrewn.da.ru $29,000

/end free plug

Otherwise I might sell my R34 for the right price - do you like tiptronic auto? It is AWESOME to drive!

I also agree that kralster's r34 is a nice car :)

kralster, good luck with buying a v35! Dont see many (any?) of those around. Pity they're NA but all the same I dont mind them. :)

Oi Nightcrawler...i reckon i saw u in the S15 agessss ago, flying down montacute road, blue flames came out ur exhaust we tried to keep up with u in our 180sx.....clealry had no chance once we saw blue flames pop out the back hahahhaha. Not sure if it was u but looooooks 99% identical. We pulled over and spoke to u down at Cambelltown soccer oval.

yeah mate I think I remember you (I see a lot of people out and about) .... that reminds me, I should take the old girl out for a belt and get the cobwebs out of her ;)

f*kk thats awesome sif it was u....that car was farking nice man...coz i was like 17 at the time and i was obsessed with s15's hahah i was like OMG i want that car!!!!! LoL, that is a fast car man, wot sort of rwkw she pulling out...if ur ever near campbelltown again tell me i'll catch up with u in my skyline. hehe ;)

running 203rwkw now ... did a 12.74 @ 110mph a couple of years ago when it had a bit less power ;)

I drive my R34 now all day (the S15 lives in the garage), so no doubt will see you about the place sooner or later - I do most of my work in the Eastern/North-east area, so I pass Campbelltown all the time

ahh k cool, yea im in Rostrevor man hell close...if i see a R34 i kno hu it is now! haha. have only seen like 1 R34 down these parts, if i see i'll give u the old courtesy honk or wave, lol. cheers man.

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
