Engine Trouble

Hi

I just had a intercooler installed and im noticing sum problems. While I drive if I go to give it a bit sometimes it'll react like it's suppose to but sometimes the engine will cut out and only the turbo opens and then the whole car jerks 2 or 4 times with the engine kicking back in and then it drives normal or it will happen while im just cruising and I also get no feedback from the accelerator peddle. It's starting to bother and worry me so any help is greatly appreciated. This has also happened once or twice before it was installed so is it the intercooler or something else????????

how much boost are you running? what other mods does the car have?

sounds like R&R (richen and retard),

the ecu does it when you ramp up the boost.

Just an aftermarket Kakikomoto exhaust system and HKS pod filter, Blitz Boost gauge and turbo timer. The boost is running standard. You know of any ways of fixing it? Should I upgrade to a new ECU as I will be doing this eventually or would I basically have similiar problems?

could be a slight leak in a cooler pipe. i had one once, was a hair line spilt in a joining hose, rub fine then on boost run like crap.

I've checked the vacuum hose and i couldn't see anything wrong. Is it possible that maybe one of the hose clamps aren't on tight enough and a bit of air is being leaked out or something cause they don't have any slits in either. Also does anyone know where to get a proper car manual for a 95 R33 GTST Skyline?
