R32 Gtr Dash Board?

Hi ppl,i Was wondering is it hard to take of the dash out of a gtr r32 only the top half the vinyl part. How is it done is there somewhere with instructions? and can you just take the top part off without the bottom half "as in" the glove box side.

yes it separates, you will have to remoove the gauge cluster and glove box just to get to the bolts to remoove the vinyl

whats the estimated time to take out the vinly section, is it easy or a big job???

Its not so much hard as time consuming and yes there are no short cuts to do so would make the jod alot harder than it is but there are only 4 nuts holding the top part of the dash in 2 across the top if u pop out the 2 little covers across the top of the dash you will see them and 2 in the bottom corners but all bottom of the dash glove box centre console gauge cluster's all ahve to be removed

do you have to take the speedo out or the steering wheel?

the wheel dosn't need to come out, it just makes it easier.. but I never bother to remove the steering wheel.

The dash cluster with the speedo and tacho and what not, does need to come out, but it's quite easy. Just 4 or 6 screws..

It's a simple job, although a little time consuming. Just start unscrewing things and you'll eventually get what you want, just be gentle and never force anything and you should be fine.
