Auto Box

OK having mixed feelings, if its f**ked i have an excuse to convert it to manual. but any box probs is $$$$ so not happy.

it shifts back to 3rd even when im on the freeway doing 100km. (flat road)

i take my foot off the accel and caught 4th again but after crushing around it would slip in and out of 4th.

it's happen for a few days straight now.

what the likely prob? solenoid?

all other gears are fine with smooth changes.

sounds electrical to me.

my auto did that but only between 2nd and first.

in r33's there is a bunch of looms near the washer bottle/fuse box. clean up the connections, try blow them out with a blower, then tighten them so the pins sit snugly in the connection.

it worked for me and fixed all my gearbox problems i had.
